MOGGED: Looksmaxx or Die Guide

MOGGED money guide

Quick answer

Four income routes are confirmed — sell gear, run batches, take a job or trade stocks — and everything you carry past 5AM is confiscated, so money only exists once it is banked.

Money and rent in MOGGED: Looksmaxx or Die

The short version

Four ways to make money are named in the official material: sell your extra gear, run batches, get a job and trade stocks. The store page's own list of fallbacks is "illegal pharmaceuticals, sketchy procedures, stock trading, or gainful employment — whatever gets the average higher." Against that sits a rent line with a date on it.

The official income list

Income routeSource textShape of it
Sell gear"Sell your extra gear to fund your ascension"Steady, safe, capped by what you extract
BatchesMix groceries with chemicals, sell the batch to worse judgmentHigh margin, comes with 19 side effects of risk
A jobListed under "Do whatever pays"Predictable income, costs day-phase time
Stock tradingListed in both official listsMarket-shaped; no published mechanics yet

The day-phase framing is "do whatever pays — get a job, trade stocks, or LARP with a Ferrari. Whatever gets the average higher."

What the money is for

  1. Rent. Official screenshots show a hard deadline — RENT: $1,045 · DUE DAY 3 — landing in the middle of a run. Missing it is not a soft fail.
  2. Supplies. Prices are described as exploding while the frat hoards the good products, so the same cart costs more every week.
  3. The quota. A group that comes up short is told to diversify into income, not just into looks — the average has to keep climbing.

That split is the entire extraction decision: anything still on you after curfew gets confiscated, and any asset security seizes on the way out is permanently lost. Money only exists once it is banked.

A first-week money order

  1. Day one: buy the cheap cart, not the aspirational one. The tutorial's cart is priced to teach this.
  2. Sell before curfew. Do not carry surplus out of the house.
  3. Keep a rent buffer. The rent date arrives whether or not the run went well — see the beginner guide.
  4. Add the risky route only after the buffer exists. Batches pay more and come with the peptide risk.
