MOGGED: Looksmaxx or Die Guide

The short version

The developers publish their launch inventory on the Steam store page: 64 items + 62 grocery items (126 total), plus 4 traps, 7 deployable upgrades and 19 peptide side effects. Those grocery items are the raw half of the game's crafting economy — you mix them into batches, not into your face.

The official inventory numbers

Every number in this table is quoted from the developer's own "current state of the Early Access version" answer on the store page.

Where items come from

SourceWhat the official material says
Frat house cabinetsThe night description: rummage through cabinets for looksmaxxing contraband while something inside stalks the ugliest person
MaxMartThe day phase is "buy supplies, softmaxx and get presentable" — prices are described as exploding
Batches you make yourselfMix groceries with research chemicals, test doses on your friends, sell the batch to somebody with worse judgment
Your own gear, sold back"Sell your extra gear to fund your ascension" — the loop's official line

The 5AM confiscation rule

The store page is blunt: anything still on you after curfew gets confiscated, and any asset security seizes on the way out is permanently gone. In practice that turns the extraction into an inventory decision, not a sprint:

  1. Loot while the house is dark.
  2. Decide what is worth carrying against the risk of being caught outside at 5AM.
  3. Sell the surplus, keep what feeds the next run.

The beginner guide works through a first-week version of this decision with real rent numbers.

Items are the quirk layer

The developers describe the kind of content they are adding as items and actions that integrate with the looksmaxxing theme — they name Gua Sha as an example of an item type and mewing as a player action. That is consistent with everything else in the game: the loot is skincare-shaped, and the combat loop is cosmetic.

What is not published

  • No item names, rarity tiers or stats are listed outside the game itself.
  • No loot tables for the frat house have been published; the house is described as rebuilding itself every night.
  • Per-item recipes for batches are not published — the 19 side effects exist, their table does not.
