MOGGED vs Lethal Company and R.E.P.O.
MOGGED borrows the co-op night raid and the hard deadline from both games, then adds a day phase with an economy and a quota measured in your own looks.

The official line
The developers state it on the store page: MOGGED is "inspired by games like Lethal Company and R.E.P.O." The resemblance is deliberate — co-op horror, a night raid, loot that has to get home — but the thing being collected is different, and that difference changes the whole game.
Side by side
| MOGGED: Looksmaxx or Die | Lethal Company | R.E.P.O. | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Players | 1–8 online | Up to 4 online | Up to 6 online |
| What you collect | Looksmaxxing gear, groceries, contraband | Scrap to sell to the Company | Valuable objects to retrieve |
| The meter you must satisfy | A group looks quota that rises every week | A profit quota per quota cycle | Delivery value per mission |
| The twist | You are scored too — every player and NPC has a looks rating, and the ugliest face gets hunted | The threat is environmental and creature-based | The threat is physics and entity-based |
| The deadline | 5AM curfew — anything still on you is confiscated | Getting back to the ship before the round ends | Extracting before you are caught |
| Day phase | Yes — shop, work, trade, craft, raise your rating | No — runs are continuous | No — runs are continuous |
| Economy between runs | Jobs, stocks, batches, gear sales, rent | Sell scrap, buy gear and suits | Sell retrieved items, buy tools |
What MOGGED takes
The skeleton is familiar on purpose: a small crew, proximity voice, a house that rebuilds itself, a hard time limit, and loot that is worthless if you do not make it home. If you have played either inspiration, the first night will feel immediately legible.
What MOGGED adds
- A score that applies to you. In the other two, the danger is outside. Here the danger is partly your own rating — see the tier list.
- A real day phase. Jobs, stock trading, batch-making and shopping happen between raids, which means the run has an economy behind it — see the money guide.
- A comparison-based objective. The quota is a group average, so you can succeed while improving less than your friends, as long as somebody is below you — see the stats guide.
- Confiscation instead of death as the penalty. Missing the 5AM curfew costs you everything on your body, permanently, which makes the extraction decision sharper than a simple fail screen.

What it does not have yet
Neither inspiration is the right comparison for content volume — MOGGED launches in Early Access with a published inventory (126 objects, 15 enemies, 6 levels) and a stated 3–6 month window to grow. Read the Early Access page before judging it against games that have had years of updates.
